Control Panels
Screenscope's graphic user interface has been designed to make all common controls accessible without the need for menus. It takes just one "move and left/right click or wheel" to operate visible controls giving it a hands on feel.
In the measurement area, you can just grab and move traces and other objects such as trig level directly. Associated readouts will be adjusted as you move an item. After a trace is released it stays in the mouse focus so its position can be further adjusted for easy fine control.
The screen layout is divided by function into control panels. Some panel positions accomodate several control panels shown here in exploded view. For example, FFT, Math and X-Y mode have their own control panels, but they occupy the same position. You select the one you want to be showing with a button at the top of the panel. It then stays in place until you select another panel. This is simpler and easier to use than menus.
