Screenscope is a unique type of oscilloscope
Just connect a monitor and mouse directly into the rear of the unit and you get a stand alone oscilloscope that is easier to use than both conventional stand alone instruments and PC scopes.
Easy to use
Using a standard low cost computer monitor you get a large graphical area with plenty of room to display waveforms and readouts, as well as accommodate the multitude of controls that a complex instrument presents. No need for multifunction buttons or menus to wade through.
The controls have been layed out in such a way as to minimise the number of mouse operations required to access any function. Even the less frequently required controls, such as enabling the auto or manual measurements, or copying a trace to a memory, can be performed with a single click. To adjust variable settings you can just hover the mouse over the setting and use the wheel without the need to click first, though you can left/right click also for fine up/down adjustment.
You get more freedom in the measurement area because you can just grab and drag waveforms and objects directly using the mouse. After releasing an object it will remain in mouse wheel focus so you can to and fro its final position for easy fine control.
You get more room on your bench because you don't need screenscope to be in reach and a large display means it can be placed at the back of your work area.
Its easy to set up, there is no software to install and it is ready in seconds. You can use it continuously or infrequently with the same ease.
